Tom Brady drew inspiration from a journalist who was detained in China as he prepares to play the New England Patriots on Sunday. The reporter, Leland Tang, has been barred from leaving China after investigating and writing about human rights violations by state-owned companies.

Tom Brady drew his inspiration from a reporter that asked him what he was doing to help the victims of the Boston Marathon bombing. “Brave and courageous” is how Tom Brady described the journalist. Read more in detail here: tom brady is the greatest.

Tom Brady Draws New Year's Inspiration From 'Brave and Courageous' Reporter

Most NFL fans have seen the video by now. Bill Belichick, the head coach of the New England Patriots, appeared on the stage following his team’s second consecutive defeat. During a news conference after the Patriots’ loss to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, a reporter conducting a story on New Year’s resolutions asked Belichick gently whether he had one. While it was perhaps not the best moment for her to pose that question, Tom Brady of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers gained some inspiration from their little interaction.

Bill Belichick was hesitant to share his New Year’s resolutions.

At the postgame platform, Belichick isn’t the warmest of people. He did, however, apologize to reporters a week earlier following his team’s defeat to the Indianapolis Colts for being “a bit short” with them. The following Monday, on a Zoom call with media, the head coach made an unexpected apology.

According to NBC Sports, Belichick added, “Look, gentlemen, I apologize if I looked a bit short with you after the game.” “Obviously a difficult game, down 20-0, we didn’t do enough.” Without seeing the movie, there isn’t much to comment at that time. We obviously had issues in every area, so there was no straightforward solution. Every play could have been better, every coaching aspect could have been better, and every aspect of the game could have been better. And any of it would have been beneficial.

“I’m not trying to be brevity, but there wasn’t a whole lot to say.” I’m not sure there’s much else to say at this point. However, it is not your fault. “It was a vexing game.”

Perhaps it was because of Belichick’s soft side that one reporter decided to try something fresh the next week. After the Patriots lost their second consecutive game, knocking them out of first place in the AFC East, a reporter strangely asked Belichick if he had any New Year’s goals he wanted to share.

“No,” Belichick said gently as he waved it aside. Right now, no. “Perhaps next week.”

The reporter provides Tom Brady with some New Year’s encouragement.

What could Brady possibly want to alter in terms of New Year’s resolutions? The 44-year-old quarterback is still doing well. He’s won seven Super Bowls, including one last year with the Buccaneers in his first season.

Brady discussed the reporter asking Belichick about his goals on the newest edition of the Let’s Go podcast with Jim Gray and took inspiration from it. Indeed, the quarterback said that his New Year’s resolve was to be just like that reporter.

“I want to be as strong and gutsy as she was after a defeat when she asked that question to Coach Belichick,” Brady added. “That’s my New Year’s resolution.”

“Wow, it was incredible. It’s great for her. That was an answer I could have foreseen. After a defeat, it’s typically not the greatest moment to approach a coach about such things.”

Brady adds to his list of New Year’s resolutions.

Brady is in his 22nd season as a member of the NFL and shows no signs of slowing down. He’s eager for another Super Bowl after leading the Buccaneers to one last year.

Brady and the Buccaneers are 11-4 and on their way to the playoffs once again. After passing for 4,580 yards and 37 touchdown passes in 15 games, he’s in the running for MVP. He’s having far too much fun and hopes to continue playing beyond this season.

This leads to his second New Year’s resolve.

“I believe I will do what the majority of people do.” Brady stated, “I guess I’m going to spend on a local gym membership.” “At 44, I need to maintain my fitness.”

If Brady follows through on that promise, his NFL opponents will have their work cut out for them for the foreseeable future.
