In this guide, we will cover the collectibles and starting locations in Sniper Elite 5’s mission 8, Rubble and Ruin. In order to get started on collecting them all you’ll need is to complete Mission 6 – The Wardenclyffe Tower where you take control of Karl Fairburne for the first time.
The “Sniper Elite 5 Rubble and Ruin: Mission 8 Collectibles and Starting Locations” is the final mission in the Sniper Elite 5 game. In this mission, players must find all of the collectibles on their way to completing the game.
Rubble and Ruin is the final mission in Sniper Elite 5, and it’s also the last one in the campaign with collectibles. Despite the fact that you’re nearly done, Mission 8 is still plenty of stuff to find: personal letters, stone eagles, confidential papers, and workbenches. We’ll also teach you where to discover the other two map beginning points, which will make things like the kill challenge a lot simpler.
This time around, there’s a little more zigzagging around the map. Rubble and Ruin isn’t really meant for (mainly) unfettered travel from east to west or north to south, unlike some other levels like Secret Weapons and Liberation. There’s a lot of wreckage and ruin in the path, which makes the level seem more like a labyrinth for the most part.
Collectibles and Starting Points for Rubble and Ruin
Radio Lines That Are Safe (Classified Document 1)
Begin by following the way to the tiny plaza with the statue and four Nazis at the beginning of the level. On the stack of boxes immediately north (on the opposite side) of the statue, this classified paper is close to a lamp.
Resistance is shattered (Classified Document 2)
Continue up the destroyed structure and into the chamber where the resistance fighter is located. Look down to the street below after passing over the barrier. There will be two troops at a bar/café. On the container between them is a secret paper.
Your man made a statement! (Letter to a Friend)
Turn around after gathering the information above and follow the roadway to the left. Crawl through the ruins and around the rear of the white, shelled structure in front of you (the front door will not be open as it is in the screenshot).
Climb the ladder, then descend to the basement to get the building key from the wall. Return to the second floor and unlock the closed door to take this from a desk across from the generator.
Report on Resistance (Classified Document 3)
Keep heading northwest. For a bookshop interrogation, you should bring a marker. If that’s the case, head down to the basement and look for this piece of information hidden behind a locked cell door (you can pick up the key from an officer nearby or use a satchel charge).
Continue north along the street in front of the home, past the fueling facility with the truck and flashlight, if you don’t have the marker. Past the barrier, automobile, and dense grass, take the stairs on the left. Go right between the red and blue buildings on the right, then right through the first doorway on the right to drop down to the basement and behind you is the cell.
Location of the Cafe and Priority Pick-Up (Classified Document 4)
Return to the MG42 emplacement west of the previous piece of information and enter the Metro Du Cafe behind it on the left side of the road. Take the stairwell to the top, then ascend. To secure the beginning place, open the door at the end of the trail. To get to the attic, climb atop the desk immediately inside the right-hand door. This top-secret paper is on the table in front of you.
Workbench by SMG
For your murder target, go northeast through the ruins toward the town hall (Yoshikawa). The northeast corner of the building block near south/southwest of the town hall should have a blue indicator indicating a resistance cache on your map. There’s a generator inside, as well as a ramp that leads up. Take it, then go to the part with the dangling floor. The workstation is located at the top of the stairs.
1 Stone Eagle
This stone eagle sitting over the central eave window may be seen facing the town hall (northwest) and above the main entrance.
He’s hardly the sharpest knife in the drawer (Personal Letter 2)
Go north of the church to the bombed-out theater, which is in the center of the building block across the street (east) from the workbench and has a glider crashed into it. On the southern side, upstairs, near an MG42 position on the balcony facing toward the church, seek for this in a locked container (use a crowbar).
Workbench for Pistols
This workbench may be found in the crypt of the church. The crypt may be accessed by the entrance in the northwestern corner of the main hall (there is a satchel charge nearby and the crypt key in a box at the top of the tower); the door below the main stairs on the northern side; or the weak wall on the northeastern side.
Adolf Hitler’s “Original” (Hidden Item 1)
Climb into the hole in the wall by climbing up the scaffolding adjacent to the crypt entrance. Then climb up one story on the ladder and leap off. Near the sleeping bags, the picture is lying against the wall.
Flagship Fuel Risks and It’s Not Over Yet (Personal Letter 3) (Classified Document 5)
If you’ve followed this guidance to this point, there should be a blue marker for Moller’s safe at the Hotel Sue la Mer; if you’ve followed this guide to this point, there should be a blue marker for Moller’s safe in the hotel. If not, look for the octagonal structure across the road (south) from the sewer entry goal. The word “HOTEL” is inscribed in bold red letters facing the sewage on it. Pick up the personal letter from the southern side of the basement office, then unlock the safe in the upstairs room to the right of the Rising Sun flag.
Seaview Offices will open in a new location, and Moller will relocate (Personal Letter 4)
Head south on the road west of the hotel. The road will come to a halt in front of a red and white brick structure with green shutters and a sandbag wall. To discover the personal letter on a desk with a typewriter, go through the archway to the left of the entryway, then right through a hole in the wall. Then proceed upstairs and secure the starting place by opening the top door.
Stone Eagle 2 is a sequel to Stone Eagle.
After securing the beginning site, go to the next door (by the resistance flag) to enter a communications room/armory. Look for the building at the extreme end of the beach via the first window on the right. On the roof, a stone eagle is perched.
Stone Eagle 3 is the third installment of Stone Eagle.
Make your way to the road immediately northeast of the sewer entry goal. On the left side of the road, there will be a checkpoint and two towers. For the stone eagle to the left of two towering tanks, look beyond the second tower to a refinery building off the map.
Disinfect the Sewer (Personal Letter 5)
As soon as you spawn into the sewer, check behind the crates on the left side behind the containers.
Tonto was kidnapped (Hidden Item 2)
If you have a satchel charge, use the personal letter above to blast open the door. Then seek for this hidden item in the crowbar box on the left side. If you don’t have a satchel charge, circle back till you (quickly) discover a chamber on the left with a safe. To get the Sewer Pump Room Key, open the safe.
Workbench for Rifles
Follow the passage around from the safe room, up some steps, and through a green door (there is a generator in front of you). Go down the ramp/stairs on the left side. A modest armory may be found immediately after, on the left. One of the troops nearby has the key.
Hangar for the I-400 V2 (Hidden Item 3)
Destroy the three U-boats and use the second-story catwalk to reach the secret U-boat enclosure. Inside the enclosure, turn left on the catwalk and enter the chamber at the far western end (Funkraum 84). Then go straight into Kontrollraum 78 after passing through a smaller chamber. This object is concealed behind four desks pushed together in the room’s center.
And that’s where you’ll discover all of the goodies in Sniper Elite 5’s eighth objective, Rubble and Ruin. The only thing left to do is eliminate Moller. There are still additional stone eagles, workbenches, papers, letters, and things to collect if you bought the season pass or the Kill Hitler DLC individually.
