The Monster Hunter games are a unique series where players hunt and collect monsters, weapons, armor and other items. With the upcoming release of Monster Hunter: World on PC (PS4) in September 2018, players will have access to one new way to get warm pelt pieces called cooking-gears. The hunting style is based around collecting rare materials such as monster parts to craft equipment used against your enemies while also searching for powerful ores that can be used in high-end crafting recipes with special attributes like defense or cooldown time reduction.
If you are looking for a new armor set, the “monster hunter rise warm pelt reddit” is an armor set that has been released in Monster Hunter: World. The armor set can be obtained by completing quests or purchasing it from the shop.
You’ll need Warm Pelt for almost two dozen Low Rank crafting recipes in Monster Hunter Rise. Thankfully, it’s neither tough to farm nor in short supply: two creatures drop it frequently, and both are non-aggressive with very low hit point values.
In Monster Hunter Rise, here’s how you cultivate Warm Pelt.
Warm Pelt Locations in Monster Hunter Rise
Two Small Monsters drop Warm Pelt: the deer-like Kelbi and ox-like Anteka. You’ll find them in the Shrine Ruins, Sandy Plains, and Flooded Forest, but they’re easiest to locate in the Ruins, on the hill behind the big gate near area 8. Anteka live close to the default base camp, in the valley nearest the first red Spiritbird.
Focus on Kelbi if possible, as carving them has a 45% chance to give a Warm Pelt. Anteka only offer an 18% chance per carve, so getting them from colder climes will take more time for less reward.
Your Palico has an equal chance of picking up a Warm Pelt, so if you embark on a Kelbi killing spree, your Felyne companion may have a few extra in their pockets.
Before you set out to farm Warm Pelt, make sure you ordered the Hap-Peanut Bunny Dango, which you get from the 4-star optional quest Getting Back the Groceries. Its buff increases the chance to receive additional rewards at the end of a quest.
Clear every place in the Shrine Ruins where Kelbi spawn, then finish the Expedition via the menus (the third tab above) to get the most out of your farming. It will be indicated in yellow) and you will be prompted to restart.
If you continue farming for consumables, ingredients, and monsters, the Kelbi will most likely return, enabling you to keep carving without having to restart the level.
The Anteka follow the same method, so if you’re looking for Icium, you’ll likely find lots of both it and Warm Pelts.
