Kyrie Irving update: the five-time All-Star suffered a fractured left kneecap in his team’s game against the Denver Nuggets on March 31, making it likely that he will miss the rest of this season and all of next year. In addition to wishing for LeBron James to get injured so Cleveland could sign him back, Kyrie has made some other interesting comments over recent years such as “I’m not trying to be like anybody,” which is exactly how I feel about my personality

Kyrie Irving Injured Again, Makes Yet Another Foolish Comment

What’s more surprising: Kyrie Irving’s latest injury or his next strange remark? Nassir Little of the Portland Trail Blazers outworked Brooklyn Nets point guard Nassir Little late Monday night. Midway through the fourth quarter, with his side leading by five points, Nassir went all out to dive for a loose ball, falling into Irving, who remained down clutching his ankle. Irving isn’t anticipated to miss any time, but it didn’t stop him from making a blunder after the game.

Kyrie Irving has only appeared in two NBA games this season.

On Monday, Irving appeared in his second NBA game of the season, when the Nets traveled to Portland. Due to the city’s vaccination policy, the seven-time NBA All-Star is ineligible to play home games in Brooklyn since he is unvaccinated. He was recently permitted to play part-time on the road by the Nets, and he played 40 minutes against the Blazers in a 114-108 defeat.

Irving scored 22 points for the Nets, who were missing James Harden due to injury (hyperextended knee). On Sunday, Brooklyn played an overtime game in San Antonio and then travelled to Portland for Monday’s game.

According to The New York Post, Brooklyn Nets coach Steve Nash observed, “Guys were gassed, frankly.” “There were certainly strong patches, but ultimately, I don’t believe we had the energy to complete the job.” I’m not sure whether anybody has ever flown six hours between games, so I understand. I see your point. Late in the game, they’re attempting to dig deep.

“I know our players were exhausted after (Sunday’s) overtime game, so getting on a six-hour trip and getting here was a challenge for them.” They put out a commendable effort. We held the lead at some time in the second half but couldn’t keep up the effort or finish possessions. We didn’t make any huge shots, whereas they did.”

Irving hit nine of his 21 shots and grabbed eight rebounds.

Irving has uttered a lot of stupid things, including the flat-earth comment. He said at one time that he didn’t think the Nets had a head coach, despite the fact that Nash is in charge.

According to ESPN, Irving said, “I don’t see us having a head coach.” “KD could be a head coach, and I (on occasion) could be a head coach.”

He was fined by the NBA for referring to the media as “pawns” and refusing to talk to them before and after games. “I don’t communicate with pawns.” According to The New York Post, Irving said in an Instagram Story last year, “My attention is worth more.”

After Monday’s game, he added to his series of blundering utterances. “There’s no place in our game for that,” he said of Little’s all-out hustle for the lost ball that ended in Irving injuring his ankle.

“It was a bad play,” Irving said after the game, per Bleacher Report’s Sean Highkin. “It was unnecessary for him to dive that far away from the ball. … There’s no place in our game for it. I get the intent from Nassir, it’s nothing against him. But it was unnecessary.”

No, Kyrie, it’s precisely what the NBA requires. More Nassir Littles are needed in the league. More hustling, diving, and enthusiasm are required. You didn’t go for the ball with any zeal. Up a tight game, you put in a little effort, while Little went all out. It contains all of the game’s requirements.

I would never intentionally harm someone, and I have the biggest respect for Kyrie! But if you believe this is a horrible move, you’re crazy, and I’d do it again. I’m not sure what you’re on about https://t.co/kcChvvupG4

Irving is a part-time NBA player who has amassed a sizable fortune. Little is a 2019 late first-round choice who is attempting to carve out a career in a hard field.

Irving doesn’t have to go to great lengths to establish his worth. Little makes a difference.

Little did nothing to indicate that he intended to harm Irving. In the chase for the lost ball, Irving had a good start. He’d have the ball and two healthy ankles if he’d put in half the effort Little did.

The Blazers forward replied to Irving’s remark on Twitter.

“I would never intentionally injure someone,” Little wrote. “I hold Kyrie in the highest regard!” But if you believe this is a horrible move, you’re crazy, and I’d do it again. “I have no idea what you’re talking about.”

There is very little that is correct. Let’s just put that up to another insane Irving remark.
