Professional golfers aren’t expected to achieve the kind of success that Morikawa has at this stage of his career. On the PGA Tour, the youthful prodigy has won almost 10% of the events he’s entered, and he’s already won two majors in only eight attempts.
Morikawa has filled his pockets with tournament wins and endorsements as a result of his outstanding performance on the course. Morikawa has earned more over $14 million in on-course earnings in only 51 tournaments as a full-time PGA Tour member. In the 2021 season alone, he made more than $7 million.
Morikawa has climbed from No. 2,006 to No. 3 in the Official World Golf Ranking in only three years on the PGA Tour. His professional golf career has gotten off to a Tiger Woods-like start, and he’s just going to get better.

To tell you the truth, I spend a lot of money on meals. That’s all there is to it. Everything else, put it in the bank, put it in investments, and be prudent with it. I’m still in my early twenties. I mean, I’m 24, but I’m really content with a lot of things in my life. For the most part, it’s simply that I don’t mind making a few extra million dollars (dollars).

If Morikawa wins the FedEx Cup and the $15 million grand prize at the TOUR Championship next month, he would have doubled his existing career earnings in only one day.
He’ll be able to purchase as much food as he wants after that.
