One of the most intriguing storylines of the 2017-2018 PGA Tour season is the ongoing feud between Bryson DeChambeau and Brooks Koepka. Both players are two of the most prolific talents on tour, both have full-time jobs, and both are accomplished on the course of golf. In fact, they are two of the best golfers in the world right now and could easily be in contention at any given moment. But, unfortunately for Koepka and the rest of the golf world, it’s not just the golf that is dividing the two, it’s their behavior on the course.

At the 2018 Masters tournament, PGA Tour star Bryson DeChambeau claimed he was attacked on the course. The attack, he said, was part of a feud between himself and Brooks Koepka. As “thesportsvision” has covered plenty of sports feuds, from the beef between former NY Yankees teammates Derek Jeter and Alex Rodriguez to the rivalry between A’s pitcher Sonny Gray and the Giants’ Madison Bumgarner, this was a story that we were eager to cover.

The sports world is a place where the crazy stuff happens, and nobody knows this more than Phil Mickelson. The world’s most iconic golfer has become a bit of a legend on the PGA Tour, but he is not without his share of controversy. Indeed, the connection between him and Brooks Koepka is one that should not be overlooked.

Phil Mickelson made headlines last weekend by becoming the oldest player in PGA Tour history to win a major at the 2021 PGA Championship, but what happened between Bryson Deschambault and Brooks Koepka after the final round was perhaps even more interesting. In an interview with Golf Channel after the PGA Championship, Koepka watches with absolute disdain as Deschambault walks past him and seems to mutter something under his breath. The video immediately went viral on the internet, and the vicious feud between the two terrorists escalated with new ferocity. Although Deschambault appears to be Koepka’s new nemesis on the tour, he is far from the first star golfer to go up against the four-time major winner.

Bryson Deschambault and Brooks Koepka rekindle epic feud with viral video

It all started with a leaked video of Koepka talking to Golf Channel after the final round of the PGA Championship last weekend. When Koepka asked about it, he looked away in disgust. Deschambault soon came to the same side and sprinted past on his metal spikes. Koepka froze in mid-answer, as if Deschambault had whispered something behind his ear, and he couldn’t even finish his thought because he was irritated by Deschambault’s presence. The video went viral immediately upon release, and everyone who admired Mickelson’s historic triumph immediately turned their attention to the drama between Deschambault and Koepka. But almost as quickly as the video exploded online, it was removed from the Internet by the PGA Tour organization. Nevertheless, the clip is already well established in the minds of all golf fans, and the image of Cap’s ugly face with Deschambault in the background has already become a popular meme. The two terrorists then continued to ridicule each other on Twitter, through their official accounts. It’s fun to live in your head for free! Deschambault replied to Koepka’s essay. Koepka immediately responded with a video showing Deschambault getting angry at a fan calling him Brooks. Who says golf isn’t fun?

Koepka blames PGA Tour players for slow play

The PGA Tour is generally a happy place where everyone gets along and enjoys each other’s success. But Kepka disagrees. The eight-time Tour winner is known for giving his opinion on other players and never hiding it. He has criticized Deschambault in the past for being slow on the field, as have many other players. After the final round of the 2019 Open, Koepka had some words for his playing partner J.B. Holmes because of his slow pace of play. I’m usually ready to work. That’s what I don’t understand, Cap said. When it’s your turn to hit and you don’t have the glove on, you start thinking about it, that’s the problem. It’s not like [Holmes] needs that much time. He doesn’t do anything until it’s his turn. This is the most frustrating part. But he’s not the only one doing this.

Koepka also named stars like Rory McIlroy and Dustin Johnson

. Koepka is a refreshingly honest personality on the PGA Tour. When he’s not slagging off golfers for their slow play, he’s sending undercover shots to some of the world’s best players to get inside their heads. In 2019, Koepka burned down Rory McIlroy, saying the Northern Irishman didn’t belong in the same conversation as him. I’ve been here five years. Rory hasn’t won a major since I played on the PGA Tour. So I don’t see it as a rivalry, Koepka told AFP. I’m not looking at anyone behind me. I’m number one in the world. I have an open road in front of me and I don’t look in the rear view mirror, so I don’t consider it a race. There was no need for that now. Like this quip about his former training partner and friend Dustin Johnson before the final round of the 2020 PGA Championship. I like my chances, Koepka told reporters at TPC Harding Park. When I was in this position before, I took advantage of it. I don’t know, he’s only won one [major] yet. I play well. I don’t know. We’ll see. In the past, Koepka has inexplicably shut out players around him for no other reason than….. because he felt like it. Deschambault is the latest golfer to make the ban list, and we look forward to the PGA Tour combining them in one tournament.
