The Green Bay Packers, predictably, tried to add another wide receiver to the mix by joining the Odell Beckham Jr. sweepstakes – a process that took longer than anticipated. However, the 29-year-old decided to take his skills to California rather than Wisconsin in the end.
Beckham has a chance to win a Super Bowl with the Los Angeles Rams, among players like Matthew Stafford, Aaron Donald, and top Offensive Player of the Year contender Cooper Kupp. In addition, he’ll get the chance to show off his abilities and re-establish his worth by playing under Sean McVay, one of the top head coaches in the NFL.

Odell Beckham Jr. faced a major choice after being released by the Cleveland Browns and clearing waivers. The former New York Giants player needed to find the ideal match for his talents in order to get his career back on track. Teams in need of wide receivers, such as the New Orleans Saints, Kansas City Chiefs, and Seattle Seahawks, have emerged as favorites to sign him. Meanwhile, the New England Patriots loomed as a possible destination for Beckham in the backdrop.
In addition, the Packers remained a serious championship candidate among other teams. Despite the fact that it was likely that OBJ would team up with the reigning MVP, this did not materialize.
Instead, he became the second well-known athlete to go to Los Angeles this month.

Before an early morning practice, the All-Pro cornerback got the physically talented wide receiver on speakerphone and enlisted the help of a few teammates.
Stafford, Kupp, and Robert Woods made their last pitch to Beckham by emphasizing the team’s culture, atmosphere, and desire to win the Lombardi Trophy this season.
“Didn’t it seem like college [recruiting]?” After practice, Woods said. “It’s just chatting to him and making him feel at ease.” “All I wanted was for him to feel like he was a part of the team and contribute to our offense.”
Clearly, the strategy worked.

In Week 12, two loaded teams will face off in an epic clash. The Rams will travel to Green Bay to face a Packers team that may look drastically different depending on the health of All-Pro cornerback Jaire Alexander and top pass rusher Za’Darius Smith.
Of course, with Beckham in the mix, the contest will be much more intriguing. After all, he could have signed with the Packers and entrusted his future to a quarterback who already has a Super Bowl ring. Instead, he threw his support behind Stafford, who has lost all three postseason games.
Will Odell Beckham Jr.’s choice pay off?
